With a crisp appearance, it can be called an "edible gem". Amber candy is a wagashi that became popular in Japan during the Edo period.

This year, the Tang He family designed the amber candies for Yisi year with the "Purple Shirt Dragon King", a hundred-step snake. The hundred-step snake has the symbolic meaning of friendship, peace, and protection in the aboriginal society. The triangle representing the snake's "scales" also means protection and regeneration in traditional Japanese patterns, and is a symbol of getting rid of bad luck.
