Jonamagashi Fruit

It has been a fruit tasted by royal nobles since ancient times. It is a fresh food with bean paste as the main ingredient. It has a moisture content of more than 30% and must be eaten within two to three days. Lianqie skin is made from pure natural white bean paste and glutinous rice flour. It is low in sugar and oil, has a light fragrance, and a delicate and soft taste. The filling is made from the specially selected sweet potatoes from Taiwan Agricultural University No. 57, which is fragrant and melts in your mouth.

 

Yoshinozakura

After the Heian period in Japan, cherry blossom viewing became popular, and Mount Yoshino is a very famous cherry blossom viewing spot. Yoshino Sakura is the most common cherry blossom in Japan. Its stamens are composed of five petals. When they first bloom, the center will appear light pink. When they bloom and fade, the petals will turn white. Yaezakura

Yaezakura is a double-petal variety of mountain cherry blossoms. The overlapping petals are as gorgeous as peonies. One flower has been found to have as many as 300 petals. This flower is a standard item in Japanese confectionery (it will definitely be there), but each craftsman expresses it differently. Teacher Emily uses the image of two kinds of petals stacked together to express a sense of wealth, splendor and nobility.

 

Sakura Love

Cherry blossoms next to the princess and cherry blossoms near the princess during Hinamatsuri. Legend has it that when the cherry blossom petals fall, grab the cherry blossom petals with one hand. Mizuhiki Mizuhiki

Originating from China, it is one of Japan's traditional crafts. It is often used in various packaging. You can also see various shapes in weddings and funerals. The staff of the Tanghe family hand-woven a butterfly-like "Awaji Knot" with gold and silver cords, symbolizing "wishes that will not be torn apart," adding a touch of sincerity and blessing when giving gifts. The best thing is that it can also be reused, which is very environmentally friendly!

 

Things to note:

  • In order to preserve freshness and prevent collision, Toukaya wagashi is stored in -24°C freezer after production, and is shipped by Black Cat Frozen Home Delivery.
  • Thaw at room temperature for about 40 minutes before eating.
  • Jonamagashi is prone to drying and cracking if exposed to the air for too long. Therefore, it is recommended to keep them in the original transparent packaging box during the thawing process.
  • Jonamagashi can be moved to a plate in the frozen state, and then covered with the original transparent lid. Just remove the lid before eating.
