【Original】First Geese はつかり Hatsugari

"First geese" refers to the first flock of geese to fly south from the north for the winter. In traditional Japanese culture, it is a common autumnal term in waka and haiku.

The sound of wind and the cries of geese break the tranquility of the world, their echoes lingering and fading into the distance. This moment of migration not only symbolizes the changing of the seasons, but also carries the imagery of journey and parting, longing for those far away, reflections on the passage of time, and a touch of solitude and serene beauty.

Things to note:

  • In order to preserve freshness and prevent collision, Toukaya wagashi is stored in -24°C freezer after production, and is shipped by Black Cat Frozen Home Delivery.
  • Thaw at room temperature for about 40 minutes before eating.
  • Jonamagashi is prone to drying and cracking if exposed to the air for too long. Therefore, it is recommended to keep them in the original transparent packaging box during the thawing process.
  • Jonamagashi can be moved to a plate in the frozen state, and then covered with the original transparent lid. Just remove the lid before eating.
