A wish to be reborn in the Pure Land of the West,
Nine Grades of Lotus Flowers are parents.
When the flowers bloom, I see Buddha's enlightenment

According to records in the Avalokitesvara Sutra, when Shakyamuni Buddha preached to his disciples, he mentioned that all living beings in the Saha (mundane) World were born from their parents, while people in the Pure Land were all born from lotus flowers. When believers in the Saha World vow to be reborn in the Western Pure Land, a lotus begins to grow in the lotus pond in the Paradise. This lotus is a flower of merit, divided into nine grades according to one's spiritual development and merit. As you practice, understand, and accumulate merit, you can see Bodhisattvas and Buddhas, and achieve the status of Bodhisattva.

I hope to be reborn in the Western Pure Land, with the nine-grade lotus as my parents. When the lotus blooms, I can listen to the Buddha's teachings and achieve the status of Bodhisattva. From then on, I will never turn back from being with the Buddha and Bodhisattva.

Things to note:

• Buddha-gashi is a Jonamagashi made with bean paste. It will easily dry out when exposed to the air. Therefore, it is recommended to keep it in the original transparent packaging box during the process of offering to Buddha. Please make sure the transparent cover is tightly closed to avoid water loss.
• It is recommended that the Buddha-gashi be kept at room temp. for no more than 2 hours and consumed on the same day.
• Purely hand-dyed, the color may vary slightly, please refer to the actual product.
• When ordering a single lotus flower, during checkout, please leave a note to inform us about the color you have selected. If there is no note, a colour will be shipped randomly.
