Teacher Emily Wu Huijing has been promoting wagashi culture in Taiwan for many years, through her Wagashi Teacher Training Course , she has been teaching others the wagashi skills she learnt in Japan and spread wagashi-making in Taiwan. Since 2018, more than 40 graduates of the teaching class have joined the ranks of Toukaya Teachers, and they have participated in Toukaya Wagashi Experience Classes around the country as well as in Corporate Sessions. Here, they share their knowledge, skills and love for wagashi. After graduation, many students from the Teacher Training Course continued to create and develop their own wagashi, and successfully established personal brands and studios, becoming wagashi craftsmen.
